6 Game-Changing Mom Hacks I Learned at a Women’s Conference 💖

Faith + Motherhood Lessons You’ll Want to Carry With You

I walked into the Cultivate Women’s Conference feeling a little nervous, a little alone—and left changed. What I thought would be a couple of inspiring sermons and breakout sessions turned into something way deeper: a full heart, tear-streaked cheeks, and a list of truth-filled takeaways I needed as a mom and a woman of faith.

This wasn’t just a church event. This was God meeting me exactly where I was—exhausted, stretched thin, and hungry for clarity and peace.

Here are the 6 powerful mom hacks I picked up that weekend. I hope they bless you the way they blessed me:

1. Obedience Over Optics

We're constantly told how to look, act, perform—even as moms. But this hit me hard: your obedience is more important than how your life looks to others. Whether you’re in sweats or a power suit, if you’re saying “yes” to what God is calling you to do, you’re winning. Titles and roles don’t define you—obedience does.

“You’re already the perfect angle.” 💥 That line alone wrecked me.

2. Surrender Over the Shoulds

Let’s be real—we live in a world of shoulds.
I should do more.
I should meal prep.
I should get the kids off screens.
But what if you laid those down and just… surrendered?

One of the biggest takeaways: you weren't meant to carry someone else's calling. What you see on Instagram or Pinterest? That’s their race. Stop trying to run someone else’s.

3. Kingdom Math Is the New Girl Math

We often think it’s either/or. I can either be a great mom or pursue my calling. I can either rest or be productive. But here’s the truth: God's math doesn’t make sense by the world’s standards.

Sometimes, He says “both.”

And His provision multiplies in unexpected ways when we stop trying to control the outcome.

4. Her Calling Is Not Your Competition

In a world driven by likes and highlight reels, this was a gentle gut check. We weren’t created to compete—we were created to cheer each other on.
Put the blinders on. Run your race. And celebrate the sisters running beside you.

5. Not Enough Is All You Need

This one had me in tears. As moms, we often feel like we’re failing—like what we’re doing isn’t enough. But sometimes, saying “I am enough” is the most spiritual thing you can do.
God multiplies our little. You don’t need to hustle harder—you need to lean in and trust Him more.

6. It Takes a Village (Really)

We hear this all the time, but I felt this deep in my bones during the conference: there’s no badge for burnout. You don’t earn gold stars for doing it all alone.
Find your people. Ask for help. Keep showing up to connect groups, coffee dates, and chats with fellow moms—even if it feels awkward at first.
If you haven’t found your village yet, don’t stop trying. And hey—you’re part of mine just by being here. ❤️

One More Thing: Say “Yes”

One of the speakers reminded us of Mother Mary’s faith when she said yes to something that felt totally impossible. She simply responded: “So be it.”
And that’s what I’m carrying with me now—this posture of saying yes even when it doesn’t make sense. Because faith isn’t about having it all figured out—it’s about trusting the One who already does.

💛 Wherever you are in your faith or motherhood journey — overwhelmed, inspired, or somewhere in between — I want you to know this: you are not alone. You are seen, you are called, and you are doing holy work, even when it feels messy or mundane. 💛
